A few moments after Dr. Emani told us the good news that Julian’s surgery was a success, the sunshine poured through the window of the waiting room and lit our faces with warmth.
This seems to be a theme with major events in Julian’s life. The night I went into labor with J (June 4 2010) the sky opened with rain and thunder as we drove to the hospital. Telling us something little buddy?
Julian was born at 8:03 pm on June 5th and outside our window was a sunset composed of a slew of colors – red, yellow, pink, purple overlooking the city of Boston. Welcome to the world Julian!
I often think that our little man is in sync with the universe and some higher power out there is smiling down on us and giving us some not so subtle signs of just how much Julian has and will impact our lives.

Here comes the sun (doo doo doo doo) . . .
What a perfect song for Julian and a perfect reassurance for you both. I’m so happy the surgery was a success and that you’re back with your little one. I am applauding my computer screen and we are sending you smiles from Maryland.
. . . It’s all right . . .
Great news!! Thinking of the 3 of you all day…
All my best for healing and wholeness to Julian

I believe God does touch us with beautiful signs of His creation, like the rays of sunlight you describe. I agree with Kathy and Tom–Julian is a blessing to many!
