Sitting, grabbing, standing (practice)

Over the past few weeks Julian has flown forward in his development. He can now sit on his own for minutes at a time! He reaches and grabs for toys and plays with them purposefully while sitting when he put one in front of him.

And he does this all with the weight of his helmet.  The rash is behind him and he is wearing it 23 hours a day now.  I am so looking forward to the day he gets it off….it is pretty hard to snuggle him into the crook of your neck with a big plastic thing on his head.

And he LOVES to practice standing up. We take him by the arms and lift him up and he puts weight on his legs.  He is such a BIG BOY when he does this and is all smiles. It’s cute.

Katrina Steinmetz Soltero Ha- I just reread my message and it didn’t make sense. I meant I imagine you’re feeling a lot of joy as you watch your baby become a big boy. Wonder if I’m losing my grip on English? =)
