Just a few photos of Julian’s big boy room in progress. We had a closet built to make it an official third bedroom and I have all of the decorations – see photos below and let me know what you think! The paint color will be a pale yellow with sage green curtains to give you a sense of the overall “look” of the room. I am in search of a bookshelf which I think is the last thing I need to buy for transitioning Julian out of the nursery. And, I will do a separate post soon about the stuff I bought for baby boy #2′s room - we are using the same furniture and paint color and just re-decorating a bit to make it his own. =)

Julian’s bureau will be a dark red changing table height dresser I got at TJ Maxx Home Goods for $250 which will serve as storage and his changing table (sorry….no photo because it is covered right now because the room is being prepped and painted…I will post pictures of the final room so you can see it!).

The toddler sheet set actually didn’t come with a pillow or comforter so I picked up a Pottery Barn crib quilt that looks like this for $10 at a consignment sale. So he is going to have animals and trucks mixed together on his bed. (I didn’t get the bumper or the pillows or blanket shown in this photo)

I also picked up this 4 by 6 rug the other day at a consignment sale for $5 just in case the foam map is too large and doesn’t fit under the furniture
And lastly, an Ikea Chair off my Lexington town listserv that someone was selling for $20. The chair is usually $150 and the cushion $30 – woot woot for saving money!
